Santiago de Cuba

Temperature’s rising, and so is your pulse: Santiago de Cuba, the metropolis of Southeast Cuba, is different. It’s hot, it’s crazy, and sometimes it’s angry. Don’t be afraid – but don’t get lost, either!

Of course, there is a revolution museum as well: It’s within the Moncada Building, where the Castro brothers had their first little shot at revolution already in 1953. Which ended as a huge debacle with almost everyone of the early revolutionaries tortured and/or killed.
